WEB DESIGN/BRANDING
For several years, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with the A.M.E. Zion Church overseas department, bringing my graphic design expertise to a range of projects. My work includes revamping their quarterly magazine, enhancing their website, and creating dynamic content for social media. By adopting a more Afrocentric design approach, I’ve helped Global Missions create a striking presence that speaks to its audience, utilizing vibrant graphics, compelling videos, and informative flyers that captivate and engage.
Problem
In my role as the departments only graphic designer, I tackled the challenge of revitalizing our magazine's aesthetic under the guidance of our new Executive Director. The previous designs were flat and uninspired, lacking authenticity and cultural representation.
Solution
For this branding project, I sought to weave the threads of African American history and cultural richness into a modern, generic design. The complete overhaul of the nonprofit's branding—from logos to the new website—was aimed at capturing their heritage in a way that feels both authentic and contemporary. I'm thrilled to demonstrate how design can create a powerful narrative that resonates with the community.
Results
In the clients rebranding journey, we transformed Global Missions into a vibrant online presence that has captivated audiences during uncertain times. By implementing compelling designs and ensuring all digital elements were in place before the pandemic, we maintained relevance and engagement. Explore how our strategic approach has led to explosive growth in revenue and community interaction.
